Based in Portland, OR, Pop Art Agency pride themselves on their ability to building brand engagement. They were looking for ways they could bring in new B2B customers without breaking the bank and position themselves as leaders in their industry.

After a lot of market research it was apparent Pop Art’s competitors rarely positioned themselves as thought leaders in the space.

My solution? As their Content Marketing Manager, I delved in deep into market research to develop SEO-rich content topics that weren’t available anywhere else on the internet, helping Pop Art develop their own signature value proposition for client acquisition.

bringing a bRAND to LIFE (and whole foods): eN tUBE lA’s CONTENT + PR CAMPAIGN

En Tube was a small startup company based in Los Angeles that dreamed of bringing high quality, artisan food products to market. I created a multi-media marketing campaign to take En Tube from a home-made product to a gourmet food product that’s sold in Whole Foods and many other chains nationwide.

From helping En Tube draft a business plan to writing product copy and working with the design team on product design, as a consult strategist I was deeply involved with every stage of the process. I also helped devise unique recipes that could be created with En Tube’s products.

I also worked with En Tube to conduct market research and audit contemporary publications and websites to determine ideal content opportunities. The first article I wrote and pitched on behalf of En Tube appeared in the publication Thrillist, and received over 2 million views in the first two weeks of the article being published.

Today En Tube is sold at Whole Foods locations nationwide.

 

En Tube was so successful that it’s founder, Richard, expanded with a new line of products: HLTHPUNK. I helped grow HLTHPUNK in a number of ways including market research to determine influencer and ideal celebrity partnerships, product copy and testing and recipe development.


 

INCREASING SALES: Revitalizing Relassi Cafe

A neighborhood mom and pop coffee shop based in Portland, OR was looking for new ways to increase foot traffic and drive sales in the area.

I sat down with Rilassi to help them develop a new campaign aimed at revitalizing the brand’s presence from head to toe. From implementing online changes to creating in-store assets to promote cafe items, Rilassi’s new efforts resulted in a significant increase in traffic and sales.

iNFLUENCER MARKETING: MULTI-MEDIA CONTENT PROMOTION

NextEvo, a premium CBD company, was looking for ways to drive traffic to their blog pages. They’d spent lots on pay per click ads and other targeted social media ads but hadn’t been seeing the results they’d hoped for.

I reached out to my connections in the cannabis industry to develop an influencer marketing campaign for NextEvo in which each influencer would create their own kind of multimedia content about NextEvo’s products. I also interviewed members of the NextEvo team to create compelling articles that could be pitched to external third party publications for additional reach, and generated my own unique article ideas

The end result? Evergreen media assets including hand drawn illustrations - which routinely outperform standard stock images when it comes to clickthrough rates - video content like product recipes, and a swell of new community members and website clicks…AND placement in a top-tier cannabis publication, Cannabis & Tech Today.

breaking free from a highly saturated market: Ropana CBD

RopaNa CBD may have developed an incredible product, but they had one big problem: the rapidly expanding CBD market was so saturated they had no way to get their brand name out to consumers.

I utilized my networks in the cannabis industry and completed extensive market research to determine SEO-keyword opportunities and copy/UX modifications that would help RopaNa break free of the saturation and stand out with new and exciting content.

DRIVING FOOT TRAFFIC & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: APRES LONDON

Apres London, an outdoor roof bar, was looking for ways to bring in new, fresh faces - especially a younger age demographic than their typical clientele - to their large event space. They were looking to find a way to engage with other businesses in the community, creating a local B2B network of vendors.

Apres was also highly interested in bringing in traffic through social media content creation and community engagement.

To help Apres fulfill their goals, I reached out to local businesses to cultivate relationships and drive sales between networked partners. I also reached out to and managed influener relations to encourage content creation and drive clicks to the site.
